Smoke Eaters set fall meeting in Gary Community Center
Region notes detail the Smoke Eaters fall gathering at the Gary Community Center on Saturday September 11 with 12 30 p m registration and 2 30 p m program. J D Higginbotham of the West Virginia Office of Miners Health Safety and Training will speak on mine mapping and evolving state standards after the Quecreek No 1 flooding on July 24 2002. Dinner follows from 3 30 to 4 30 p m and a 4 30 p m business meeting will elect 2004 05 officers.
