Women's Expo topics dominate Princeton Mercer County Chamber meeting
The Princeton Mercer County Chamber of Commerce heard updates on the Women's Expo with 44 exhibitors and plans for a 10 small business participation fund, plus progress on the annual dinner and the United Way of the Virginias campaign. New expo chair Sue Shields and other leaders outlined billboards, membership fees under review, and future events including a Coffee Chat with Massey Coal's Don Blankenship on diesel to coal tech. Local unemployment concerns and re-employment efforts were discussed alongside plans for recruiting an executive director to fill Dewey Russell's vacated post.
