Macedonian Call Inspires Global Christian Mission
The August Sunday School lesson recounts Paul’s vision of a man in Macedonia calling him to preach abroad. Lydia, a seller of purple in Philippi, is converted with her household, marking Europe’s Christian opening and a catalyst for American Christianity. The reflection urges Christians to heed the Macedonian call to extend the kingdom of God beyond borders and avoid selfish use of strength.
