Allen Choraleers bring hope to flood victims in Bluefield
The 40 voice Allen Choraleers from Washington DC performed two benefit concerts for flood relief, at Keystone and Bluefield's Scott Street Baptist Church. Musical Director Mark E. Jefferson selected uplifting songs while volunteers from Scott Street fed attendees. The group, formed in 1971 and led since 1980, honored flood victims and toured homes damaged by July floods, noting few lives were lost.
