Bluestone Valley Fair entertains at Spanishburg grounds
The Bluestone Valley Fair at Spanishburg School grounds August 3 5 drew a big crowd with horse show events quilts preserves prize vegetables and needlework on display funnel cakes and music on the front lawn. The Second Annual Blue Grass Music Contest drew 47 contestants with sponsors Poole's Carpets B & B Boiler and Blue Ridge Guitar awarding gold tone banjos mandolins and guitars to top finishers. Livestock ribbons went to Will and Wendy Parsons Lashmeet and family.
