NASA says July 2016 hottest month in recorded history
NASA data show July 2016 at 0.84 C above the 1950 1980 average, marking the 10th consecutive record hot month. The list of top five hottest months includes July 2016, 2011, 2015, 2009 and August 2014, with only 2015 occurring during an El Nino.
