B. A. Byrd of Matoaks was found guilty in Magistrate W. W. MeNall's court and fined 50 dollars plus costs. He received 30 days in jail, license revocation for six months, and vehicle impoundment for six months after a Sunday arrest by McDowell county state police. He was held at Bluefield jail until the trial.
