Cheryl Watkins of the Mercer County Academy of Adult Learning in Princeton was named West Virginia Adult Educator of the Year on August 3 at the West Virginia Technical and Adult Education Conference in Charleston. Watkins has taught since 1996 and earlier spent 11 years at Windy Mountain Learning Center in Bluefield.
