Road Paving Approved for Route 10 in Mercer County
The paving of 2.98 miles of State Route 10 from Matoaka to Arista Mountain is part of over 1.5 million dollars in highway maintenance contracts to boost safety in eight counties. Gov. John D. Rockefeller IV announced the Mercer County project will be paved this year under a 127,023 dollar State Department of Highways contract to Bluestone Paving Inc of Parsons. The department has awarded 40 contracts and allocated 7,334,000 dollars for road resurfacing so far this fiscal year.
