The Norfolk and Western Railway Company calls its annual stockholders meeting at the Roanoke office on Tuesday October 8 1908 at 12 noon to elect directors and auditors and to review the fiscal year ending June 30 1908. It will consider acquisitions or mergers with several railways and approve or ratify actions. Transfer books close September 23 and reopen October 9. Secretary E M Alden marks the notice.
