Interstate 73 74 final decision this month Bluefield plans
The final record of decision on Interstate 73 74 is due by month end with a 30 day environmental comment period ending next Tuesday. State officials say the record will unlock right of way acquisitions and finalize design for a 96 mile southern West Virginia corridor from Williamson to Bluefield plus interchanges at John Nash Boulevard Airport Road and Indian Ridge. Groundbreaking on the John Nash interchange is planned this fall with completion expected by summer 2002 and a $20 million interchange cost.
