Murder warrant out for Schwartz in Walnut plant case
Martinez Calif Aug 4 A warrant charging Charles Henry Schwartz vice president and oral manager of the Pacific Rose Company with the murder of an unidentified man found in the Walnut cellulose plant ruins was sworn out by Detective Clyde Laird. Schwartz has been missing since the explosion and fire last Thursday and officials say the charred body is not yet identified as Schwartz. The warrant named Leon Henry Schwartzhoff and Johan Doe Stein as aliases in the murder charge and follows the earlier identification of Jose de Rodriguez as a suspected killer. The body was sent to San Francisco for identification as Mrs Schwartz insists the body is her husband. The report notes heavy rainfall in the west of England last year.
