Regional water project under way in Mercer Summers area
Construction on the Mercer Summers Regional Water Project is set to start in October or November with first water possible by March 1996. West Virginia American Water Co. plans a 14 million dollar private public buildout tapping Bluestone Lake for about 45 000 residents from Hinton to Princeton. Groundbreaking slated for Oct 31 to Nov 4 with bids expected mid October and a bid opening in mid October.
