The 22 year old mother of two disappeared on her son’s first birthday night with few belongings. five and a half months later friend Mark Anthony Cook vanished in the early hours of January 14, 1993.
Randy Mooney of the Bluefield Daily Telegraph and The Register-Herald in Beckley will retire May 30 after a 42 year newspaper career. His successor is Tricia Johnston of Goshen Indiana News, who will also publish West Virginia Times West Virginia in Fairmont. CNHI owns the papers.
