The Beaver High School Girl Reserves hosted a "Mother and Daughter" banquet at the Y with about sixty attendees. Mrs Connie Bailey presided, tables featured carbellons and candlelight, decor copied from a recent Danville Va conference. Miss Eveleens Spangler and Miss Ruth Bartlett were among the performers, with inspirational talks by Jane Dickerson and Minnie Weaver.
