Washington April 24 Postmaster General Payne sent to the Attorney General the facts in the case of James N Tyner his wife and sister in law Mrs Bassett a safe expert. It is believed the matter will go before a grand jury with indictments sought Mrs Tyner is accused of rewiring the safe in the Office of the Attorney General of the Post Office Department. Her husband was dismissed yesterday over allegations connected to the get rich quick scheme that used the mails. She says the papers taken from the safe were personal except for one bundle about a vase now closed. He had granted permission as his resignation not effective until May 13.
Survey noted for a railroad eastward through Randolph and Pendleton counties known as the Links country. The line, chartered as the Central Railroad of Virginia, is linked to Senator Henry G Davis plan to reach the seaboard via West Virginia coal fills. Engineering Chief John W Moore leads a thirty engineer corps eastward.

Harrisonburg Virginia April 24 A county court commission was appointed to appraise land values around Dry River Gap sought by the Central Railway of Virginia for a tunnel through Shenandoah Mountain. Work on the tunnel excavation is expected to begin within a week. Authorities note coal at North River Gap may justify briquette plant plans based on expert appraisal.
Miss Mira Pamplin became Mrs Ed ward W Thomas in a Bramwell wedding held Thursday at 10 30 am in Radford at the home of the bride’s mother Mrs M E Pamplin. The groom, a Bramwell druggist, will visit his parents in Clifton Forge before they reside in Bramwell.
