Two Princeton residents Charles Skeens and John Bridges Jr. died when their 14 foot fishing boat capsized on Douglas Lake near Dandridge Tennessee. Mercer County Deputy Sheriff Michael Maskelle suffered back injuries and was hospitalized after assisting in the rescue.

New York psychiatrists urged rapid capture of the gunman who has killed four young women with long dark hair using a 44 caliber pistol. Police say the white male suspect is 16 to 18, 5 foot 9, about 165 pounds, active in two city areas. The latest victims were Valentina Suriani, 18, and Alexander Esau, 20, shot in The Bronx, marking the fourth and fifth slayings in 10 months.
