No Changes In School Strike Stalemate Extends Beaver High Build
Representatives of Armstrong Construction and AFL unions met in Bluefield but failed to reach an agreement over the Beaver High School strike started March 30. Union demand for AFL-only hires and raised wages to prevailing union rates was rejected. Officials expect further talks with Armstrong to try to meet the completion date.
