Isaac Muir, the only boy among eight sisters, was briefly left in a van at a rest area on Interstate 40 in Cocke County. Deputies said the boy chased a speeding van but could not catch it. Rest area staff alerted police after finding him asleep in the vehicle. The family was traveling from Greenwood, South Carolina to Ohio when the incident occurred.
