Bluefield Opens New Super Market On April Fifteenth
A new Bluefield grocery, the Adthé Buper Marie, is set to open April 15 in a red brick building on Bluefield Avenue at Spruce Street. The 188 by 60 foot one story store features a stainless steel marquee, marble trim, gravel parking for eight cars, and a meat and produce layout with five front stainless counters, gondolas, bins, and a snack bar with fountain. Sidney Peery of North Tazewell Va, proprietor, also runs Tazewell Supply and the North Tazewell Wigel store. A. & P. Super-Market manager A C Mattox leads the Bluefield operation.

About 200 Jehovah's Witnesses gathered in Welch West Virginia for a three day Circuit Assembly at the IOOF hall on McDowell Street. A. H. MacMillan of Brooklyn will speak at 3 PM Sunday on the Permanent Governor of All Nations. The gathering included street outreach and literature distribution. Baptism discourse to be followed by immersion at Gary Baptist Church tomorrow morning.
