Huntington W V April 8 Delegate Beacom Democrat Cabell sponsor of West Virginia's beer law tonight expressed belief that 3 2 percent beer would be available in the Mountain State by April 12 He bases his statement on plans to submit a revised beer bill to the special session after it convenes Monday Beacom said sufficient votes to suspend the rules and repass the state beer bill in the house effective from passage and carrying a 3 2 percent alcohol content clause have been assured He said he was confident the senate would take similar action and that the amended beer law could be sent to Governor Kump by Monday night Asserting that he believed the governor would promptly sign the revised measure Beacom added that if the bill was signed Monday the necessary routine of issuing licenses could be completed on Tuesday and beer placed on sale by Wednesday The governor permitted the original bill legalizing 3 05 percent beer effective June 9 to become a law without his signature.
