The Rev. T H W Shannon a Methodist minister from Binne field faced a confidential church trial at Glen Easton before Presiding Elder Moore and others. He was found guilty of conduct unbecoming a minister and suspended until the next conference hearing though some charges were not proven. Miss Susie Grimes testified that Shannon was the father of her child. The full outcome and responsibility for Miss Grimes’s downfall were not disclosed.
