New York April 7 A drive to wipe out the 375000 debt still facing the Republican national committee will begin in New England and the north Atlantic states. Charles D Hilles chairing a finance sub committee led the plan with Senator Medill McCormick and Fred W Upham. The goal is for each member from the regions to raise his quota in the coming months. The committee had a 1683000 deficit after the last presidential election, now reduced mainly by Ohio.
