Confederate Veterans elect officers and delegates at Mercer Camp meeting

At the Mercer Camp No 858 Confederate Veterans annual meeting in the city hall officers were elected for the coming term. D B Baldwin was named colonel commandant with a slate including A G Gott lieutenant colonel and Joseph Tyler major. Delegates were chosen for the United Confederate Veterans Convention in Dallas April 22 to 25, and for the cemetery decoration at Camp Chase Ohio June 8. The camp also set a reunion for the fourth Saturday in September 1902.
