East River Mountain Tunnel links Virginias with West Virginia

Ex-Jaeger Resident Dies Electrocuted at Newport News Power Line
Milford Micky Lyons 41, former Jaeger resident, was killed Wednesday while working on a power line in Newport News Virginia. Lyons, a construction firm employee, had lived in Newport News 18 months. He was born in Jaeger, son of Charles Lyons and the late Kathleen Steele Lyons. Survivors include his father, one sister, and five brothers. Funeral set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of God Atwell with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens on the Bluefield Tazewell Road.
