Woman Fined For Driving Without License After Accident
An automobile owned by Carl Brown of Eckman and driven by Pauline Bowden struck Skeen's service station at the Athens road and Thorn street intersection, damaging a gasoline pump and part of the brick front. Officers Make Several Arrests Over Weekend
State and district officers made seven arrests on Saturday and four on Sunday while city police arrested seven on Saturday one on Sunday and two Monday morning. Erastus Lake Crotty of Bozoo was fined twenty five dollars and costs for drunken driving by Magistrate D T Carr. Crotty was arrested by Trooper H E Martin on the Oakvale road Saturday and had his operator’s license suspended for six months with the car impounded. Russell Barber was arrested Sunday night on Ingleside road by Sheriff G H Crumpecker Deputy C C Elmore and Constable C C Christian and held for a hearing on charges of stealing a pistol from Levi Hall.
