YMCA Option Expires On Princeton Avenue Site
The Young Men’s Christian Association let its option on two Princeton avenue properties lapse yesterday. Officials could not be reached for comment, but no definite action toward a new building is expected before fall. A theatre company may acquire the site and build a city theatre this summer, with local businessmen backing the project. Building now could cost about 25 percent less, and vaudeville and variety shows could attract strong local business.
