Chas Moomey narrowly escaped death last Saturday when his wagon was struck at a Wabash Continental Limited crossing. He was thrown, suffered dental injuries and aches, but walked home with help. Witness Ed Damery and train crews failed to signal. Moomey blamed careless engineers and called for crossing safety.
