Drops deceased on street Rev Victor Setterdahl dies near home
Rev Victor Setterdahl pastor of the Swedish Lutheran church collapsed on the sidewalk at 193 Collins street Thursday afternoon after leaving his home to attend a ladies aid meeting. He died within minutes. He was just over 70, longtime pastor at Andover and beloved by his congregation. Funeral services are set for February 23 at 1 p.m. in town and February 24 at 11 a.m. in Andover. He is survived by his wife two sons and three daughters.

Burglary Hits Ex-Supt Kern at Grove Street Home
Former Superintendent of Streets A. G. Kern reported a burglary at 417 Grove street in the early hours of Wednesday. A burglar broke a closet window and stole a blue serge suit and a coat and vest totaling about 30 dollars after Kern fired at the intruder and the man escaped.

City Primary Election Set For March 10
The city will hold a primary on Tuesday March 10 to nominate alderman candidates for the five wards. Incumbents Jauchter Myers Kruse Bronson and Olson plan to seek reelection, filings due February 21 to 22. The Calumet Progressive convention at Valentine hall nominated Wm. Homan for supervisor Thomas Thomasoa for collector Henry L. Wendt for clerk Chas. W. Crawford for assessor Wm. Auer for highway commissioner and Henry Wolshe for constable. A Fernwood Progressive ticket also exists and a party-name dispute could go to court. Town Clerk Wanek says Republicans intend to run on a straight Republican ticket and honor caucus results while denying affiliation with the Fernwood Progressive slate.

Three Men Injured in North Shore Public Service Plant Incident
A blast in the buzz room of Public Service Co. North Shore plant injured three men just before noon Thursday. Rey Miller and another worker suffered severe burns to face and hands, taken to St Francis Hospital. a third man burned his hands while aiding others. Lights went out as flames spread, cause believed to be an overload on current tablex form as a tonic and regulator.
