A group of Bloomington firms led by Breeden & Co and Wicks & Co sign an agreement to close their planet of business at 7 each after July 4. The December plan includes many named partners. a prior Wicks & Co promotion offered ten dollar gold pieces with keys, four winners identified as Richard Hazel, Mrs. Clay Beard, William Kerr, and Miss Olive Hughes.
