Benjamin Stalcup, born September 5, 1849, died last Saturday and was buried Sunday by the Worthington Masonic lodge. He married Ella Osborn on October 5, 1870, and is survived by wife Ella and daughter Bertha C. A respected local leader and former teacher, he owned a prized river bottom farm and was esteemed by a large funeral attendance.
