The Gage Tool Co informs they will ship planes on a 30 days trial as per their circulars. Farmers mechanics and other householders are urged to write to the company for circulars.
Lewis Stanton, age about eighteen, disappeared while duck hunting near Sanborn. His body was found next day, shot in the head with the gun across a fence and brain exposed. officials suspect an accidental discharge while climbing the fence. The death occurred near Sanborn and the case remains under local inquiry.

Alex Beasley Sr a wealthy farmer near town was away briefly Saturday morning when a theft occurred. He kept $200 in gold in an old slipper near his bed and in various places around the house. On rising he found the money missing with no clue yet to the thief amid several theories.
On the last day of the Johnstown school teacher J D Porter found the front yard crowded with 72 people and 38 pupils. Guests filled the room as baskets were brought out and a long trestle was set for a closing feast. The term, Porter's second in the district, drew praise from patrons who urged him to return. He gave brief remarks and the gathering closed with a song.

Castle Hall Newark Lodge No 270 of the K of P passed resolutions opposing a Greene County Board of Commissioners liquor license for a Newark whiskey saloon. The lodge urged the board to refuse any license to establish a saloon in Newark Indiana.
