Carnival advance agent arrested for bigamy in Indiana
Jeffersonville June 20 Geo Blackstone fifty year old advance agent for a carnival company was arrested on a bigamy charge at the Washington county sheriff’s request. He married Lulu Babb November 28 1916 deserted her and married Ollie Lindsey of Sullivan about five weeks ago. The second wife resides in Salem and the Greene county Lindsey marriage occurred May 12.

Postmaster's Son Killed at Indiana Telephone Pole
Clarence Talbott twenty year old son of the Linton postmaster was instantly killed at Upland Indiana while working as a lineman for Central Union Telephone Company. He received an electric shock and was thrown to the ground causing fatal injuries. The body was brought home to Linton for the funeral held this afternoon.

Suffrage talk at Terre Haute temple and picnic plans

Miss Maxine Martin of Linton, 27, died after swallowing carbolic acid in a Indianapolis hotel room Saturday night. She died at 2 15 Sunday morning after being taken to a city hospital.
