Daylight Robbery Report From Local Grocery Store
Samuel Hains, owner of a neighborhood grocery near the depot, was robbed of about Sit in cash. He closed at noon and returned to find the cash drawer touched. The thief, presumed to have entered via the back door and hidden in the warehouse, vanished with the money. No clues yet.

Assault and Battery Case in Squire Osbon Court
Indiana case State v Miss Cora Mitchell heard in Squire Osbon court accusing Mitchell of assaulting Mrs. Joseph Allen after a wheat field dispute.
