Youth Charged With Larceny in Butter Theft
Luther Ramsey, son of Mr and Mrs Frank Ramsey Jr, was arrested Friday by town marshal Cook as he boarded a train to Linton with a suitcase containing 26 pounds of butter. Butter had been stolen from Bloomfield Ice and Cold Storage plant two or three times. plant visited again Thursday night. Ramsey claimed he found butter in a hollow south of town. He was jailed Friday, released on bail Saturday awaiting further investigation.
