Death of Mrs Dagley in Indianapolis
Mrs Mary Dagley died in Indianapolis from a second stroke of paralysis and was buried Saturday at Crown Hill Cemetery. She was the widow of James Dagley of Newberry and a niece of the late Aunt Susan Cavins. About seventy, she lived with her daughter Mrs Charles Day and left three daughters Mrs Byron Greene Mrs Charles Day of Indianapolis and Mrs Cal Workman of Bloomfield wife of City Marshal Workman.

Heat Out At Court House In Subzero Morning
The courthouse and jail lost heat around four this morning. Janitor David Kidd worked nonstop since Sunday, restarting boilers at four. He flooded the drains to restart the system while the jail, now heated, houses nine prisoners. Officials say no transfer is needed as rooms thaw slowly with grate fires. Temperature read fifteen degrees below zero.

Sullivan County Man Dies by His Own Hand
Andrew J. Curry, 60, former Sullivan county recorder, hanged himself in a barn loft near Farmersburg. Neighbors cut him down after his wife found his feet in the loft. he had planned to go to the county seat after chores. The record notes his weight and a long-ago injury that caused despondency.

Court in Greene County Hears Guilty Pleas and Collision
The Greene Circuit Court convened in a cold jury room as steam pipes froze and burst. Judge Gardner Injured in Road Accident
Judge Wm R Gardner of Washington and his hired man William Ambles were struck by a truck while driving from his law office on a Tuesday evening. The buggy was pulled to the roadside to avoid a head on collision as an approaching auto neared the Russell home on Bedford road. The impact injured the judge and was witnessed by local residents.
