1000 Loan Proposed For Steere Street

R S Hester is nominated by the Bridgetown Agricultural Society for the B W Regional Development Committee. The nomination will be considered at the B W Conference in Bunbury on July 21 22 192? Bridgetown Ratepayers Debate Historic Plaque Plan

At the annual ratepayers meeting several recommendations were discussed. A plaque would be placed on the front wall of the town hall, but Mr G P Scott urged no action to avoid including Mr Arnutt in the hall. The general purposes committee will coordinate with Major Whittell on Bridgetown’s historical sites and early history.

Department Tests Soil at Saleyards for School Site

Department acts on site selection for Bridgetown Kantock District with soil tests at saleyards. Architect Hall and a district registered inspector oversee the process, holes sunk and soil samples taken for the department. Another potential site lies near Sutton’s lookout in the grenlty area.
