A roundup of daily happenings from town and county includes Mrs. Garrett moving to a new home, Burtell Neider renting the Criswell house, and major shipments of grain and potatoes from Idaho Falls. Political and church events touch Boise and Blackfoot, with Bishop Funsten planning a rectory and a revival underway.
Fremont and Bingham County teachers association will convene in Blackfoot on Friday and Saturday December 6 and 7. All are invited with emphasis on parental participation in discussions. Program to be announced. May L Scorr County Superintendent.
The Hamilton-Brown shoe company of St Louis shipped October shoes valued at 565139.48. Ten month shipments ending October 31 totaled 6115137.45. Starting capital was smaller than current monthly sales and annual business now exceeds 8 million dollars.
Alex Younie of Loveland Colorado buys the old Bunting bank building from Consolidated Implement and plans a new bank in early spring. He is investing heavily in Bingham county property, starting with the Berryman Rogers ranch at about 25000 dollars.
National W C T U organizer Mrs. Graves visited Blackfoot delivering lectures. She is described as one of the most interesting speakers to visit the town. During her stay thirty six new members were added to the local organization before she proceeds to Idaho Falls.
Richard Watson and Daisy Dippel wed at the bride’s parents home on Monday evening November 4, with Rev. S. Hawkins officiating. The couple, well known in Blackfoot, were school-day sweethearts who grew up in the community. May their married life be as bright as the November day.
M A Blochly a quack from the northern county was fined 300 and sentenced to six months in jail by Judge Sample for practicing medicine without a license. Testimony showed patients suffered from his work, and the public must be protected by enforcing medical laws against such pretenders.
The Current Event club gathered Monday afternoon at Mrs Chalmers for a meeting. New active member Mrs Earl Houck was admitted. Papers on Notes of Interest to Women and The History of the Southwest were read by Mrs Barnhart and Miss Berryman, followed by Western Poets read by Mrs Givens.

John B Watson administrator announces letters of administration for the Catherine A Watson estate granted October 22 1901 by the Probate Court of Bingham County Idaho. Creditors must file claims at Chalmers Books office Blackfoot Idaho within four months or be barred. Dated October 25 1901.
Delinquent stock assessment from September 7 1901 prompts sale of shares to cover amounts listed against shareholders. Sale to occur at the company office in Basalt Idaho on November 5 1901 at 2 pm to satisfy the delinquent assessment and sale costs. Ordered at Shelley Idaho October 10 1901. N C Mickelson secretary.

The meeting to collect delinquent amounts and costs is set for November 9 at 2 p.m. in Shelley Idaho, with N C Mickelson as secretary treasurer. An advertisement is requested in The News.
