In Blackfoot this week the Democratic party urges full duty for Tuesday while residents attend parties, court events, and social gatherings. Notables include Senators Dubois Watts, Bishop Watson, and Judge McGeary. locals relocate to Pocatello and Alaska posts are discussed. Socials feature Halloween, Sixty Three party, and prize wins as housing and business moves are noted.
Citizens await a verdict on the trusts as judgment looms. Prayers for justice fill souls while the public prepares to vote next Tuesday at the polls.
A brief plea for street lighting urging the town to install electric lights to end darkness and danger. The poem emphasizes darkness, fear, and the desire for safer walking with lit streets.
The notice explains how to vote by marking the ballot with a cross to the right of the chosen name. It states Democrats appear on the second row and Republicans on the left, instructing voters to vote to the right for preferred candidates and to the left for the opposite.

Spite in politics warned and betting odds cited a Bryan surge in New York.
Campaign conclusion discussion announced with Senator Dubois at the court house this evening. Also note cold northern county weather with two inches of snow and Holbrook's selling assorted flavors including Bromangelon Dessert Jelly.
In the 1896 campaign closing, McKinley dominates Canton while Bryan supporters push ahead. Mark Hanna shifts from ease to hard campaigning, speaking many times daily and pleading with voters, as Democrats note waning crowds and a tense political mood.
The Fusionists of Blackfoot present John Montgomery for re nomination citing his experience and just service. H. C. Dippel, a town pioneer, is described as capable and fully qualified for a good justice. A. L. Stephens, bringing Missouri deputy sheriff and constable experience, will become a top constable in town.
Blackfoot’s four prospectors Home Again from Nome. Al Stout John Toombs Marcus Mes ter and Frank Lamb reached home Thursday morning. They plan to return at spring opening. Each expects to gain wealth beyond want for the rest of their lives and has enough dust to keep them comfortable through long winters.
The five northern counties are reported fully supportive of the Fusionists with four, possibly all five, carried by their voters. Bryan’s ticket is expected to win the state by a splendid majority. Hunt is anticipated as Governor and Dubois as Senator.
Rev and Mrs Rozelle assist the pastor in a series of gospel meetings at the Baptist church. Meetings held every evening except Saturday with Sunday services morning and evening. Rozelle the preacher and Mrs Rozelle the singer attract attendees. everyone invited.
Shoppers urged to call in the forenoon to avoid crowds and rush at W. A. Bulls store as great bargains are offered.
The quarterly teachers’ examination will be held in Blackfoot Idaho starting November 22 1900. History theory and art will be general school law questions drawn from chapters 15 16 17 and 18 with emphasis on chapter 15. State constitution questions will be from article 18. Ox Gall bleaching and sweet cider advertised by G H Holbrook.
An 1890s style ad touts Lichty’s Celery Nerve Compound for nervous diseases and many ailments with claims of fast, thorough cures. It is sold by Hull and Woodruff, with other town trade including meat, fish, pickles, and oysters. Ballard’s Snow Liniment is recommended for injuries with prices listed, from Pioneer drug store.
Albert Heller of 1114 Farnham St Omaha says Krause's Headache Capsules are the best headache remedy he has tried and others agree. Price 25 cents. Sold by Hull Woodruff.
A historical advertisement touts Bucklen’s Arnica Salve as a universal cure for skin eruptions old sores boils felons corns warts cuts burns and bruises. It claims pain relief and a guarantee with a 25 cent price per box from Hull & Woodruff druggists.
Advertisement touts HERBENE as a remedy for digestion and bodily harmony. Claims improved liver and kidney function lead to health and buoyant spirits and lists a price of 50 cents.
Advertises Lichty’s Celery Nerve Compound as a valuable remedy for female complaints and diseases arising from impure blood. Sold by Hull & Woodruff’s.
Second hand extension dining table advertised for sale at the News office. Also notices for Pile Ointment claims cure for piles with prices listed. Tobacco product Red Bell plug offered at Holbrook's. Farm loan inquiry via Lind say & Co., Idaho Falls. Receipt books blank notes at News office and new seeded raisins and citrus peel at Holbrook's.
The Chicago, Milwaukee & St Paul Railway publishes What's the Time a booklet explaining four time standards with charts diagrams and tables. It includes twenty four tables to determine local and world times and days at major cities. Geo H Heafford offers copies by mail with a two cent postage stamp.
