Esther Gehle returns to Salt Lake City after visit with Mrs Dietrich. Rev L W Gowen and daughter leave for San Francisco where Gowen addresses Baptist society. Mrs Gagon and children depart for Illinois until summer heat ends.

Articles of incorporation for the St Anthony railroad company filed in Bannock county list $500000 in stock with Pocatello as the principal business location. Officers include E E B Calvin president L W Hills secretary and A J Van Kuran treasurer. The line will run Idaho Falls Rexburg to St Anthony about 40 miles once rights of way are secured and construction details completed.
An exchange reports transparent gowns as the latest fad at the Queen’s drawing rooms with bald headed nobles in the front row. It notes Fulton market home cured ham and bacon, rubber boots at three dollars and seventy five cents, and seven bare Key soap for twenty five cents at G. H. Holbrook’s.
