New York results show Morton leading in several districts with a broad Democratic push while statewide tallies vary. Reports from Buffalo acknowledge Republican gains and Hill leads Morton in the city, with extensive district by district counts across New York state and beyond.
Reports from Weylon district indicate both sides claiming a small majority after returns up to 7 p.m. The weather is clear and cold as results show large Democratic losses.
Minnesota returns show Nelson leading for governor with 7 984 votes in St Paul and a growing plurality overall. Becker has 3 889 and Owen 4 391 with Duluth and Minneapolis reporting later. Legislature leaning republican. Collins ahead for associate justice.
The Adviser's bulletin suggests Wilson of West Virginia trails as election results come in. Five hundred districts out of 682 report Hill 49234 Morton 46984 Wheeler 8246, indicating the main candidates and vote counts in a fragmented update.
Jackson Mississippi November 7 All the democratic congressmen from this state are elected by safe majorities except in the 4th 5th and 6th districts.
Cucaco Illinois November 7 election results announce the whole county ticket Pease and all by about 25000 with the state safe for the United States senate. Peabody runs slightly ahead of his ticket. In Springfield the Republican county committee claims 1000 majority for James A Connelly over W M Springer in the 17th district. Judge Koble leads his ticket.
Corrected results from Montana’s 198 precincts show Anaconda with 18,361 votes and Helena with 18,341, after initial tallies of 194 precincts. Helena committees claim most Anaconda strongholds reported and anticipate a substantial Helena majority despite remaining precincts in Lewis and Clark and agricultural districts. In 214 precincts, Anaconda has 19,328 to Helena 19,042.
Wisconsin election returns show Wampaea and St Croix counties with a net Republican gain of 47 and an expected nine Republican congressmen. Democratic chairman Wale concedes the state to Republicans by about 20 000 votes. In Milwaukee Peck leads Upham in 70 precincts outside Milwaukee County. Current totals: Peck 14 196, Upton 20 203.
Dernarr November 7 preliminary precinct results from 1,620 counted report Rich as governor candidate with 11,107 votes, Fisher 5,527 for Democrat, Toda 953 for Progressive, Nichols 1,189 for Populist.
Pamapsoraia November 7 Forty six counties out of sixty seven in Pennsylvania excluding Philadelphia and Allegheny report an estimated Republican gain of 49 958 over 1892.
