Jury Finds Healy Defendant Guilty With Clemency Request
In a Detroit court yesterday the jurors returned a guilty verdict for S J Swenson in the Swenson liquor case, with a formal plea for clemency attached. The panel since filled with 27 men, testimony from Mason and Gray on the whiskey sale, and judge Winchester warning the jury about forming a verdict. A later report notes sentence set for Saturday at 2 p m.
