Clarkson Spain, former Montana Farm Bureau president, was killed when his self propelled combine overturned on a county road in Bridger Canyon. He was returning the machine to his farm after helping with harvest at his son’s farm seven miles north of Bozeman. He is survived by his widow, Marian, and four children.
