Sweet Grass County Board Special Meeting 1897
The Sweet Grass County Commissioners held a special session October 25 1897 with J W Bailey chairing. Bids for a $1000000 bond issue were opened and rejected prompting a second bidding round and later acceptance of a bid from Thomas Cruse Savings Bank for $10 9000 with a $1000 certified check. A further special meeting was set for November 22 to approve bonds and related costs.
