Campaign Opened With A Rousing Republican Rally
A Sweet Grass County campaign rally opened last Thursday with Congressman Joseph M. Dixon Hon. Charles N. Pray and Judge Henry M. Smith as principal speakers. The audience filled the auditorium despite late travel delays and heard Pray denounce Democratic leadership while praising Roosevelt and Republican progress. Judge Smith urged nonpartisan judicial ethics and praised Big Timber’s rapid growth, followed by Dixon’s warm reception and thanks to the county for its support.
