Miss Aasa Mauland married Lawrence Furstenberg of Spokane in a ceremony Saturday evening at her parents’ Mauland ranch home. The groom a WWII veteran from Norway and a Spokane jewelry dealer, the couple plan to reside in Spokane after a dinner for about fifty guests. The bride, a 1990 local high school and University of Montana graduate, wore a flesh georgette dress with a pink rose bouquet and a pearl necklace from the groom.

Pioneer Alma Cross Dies After Long Illness
Mrs. Alma Cross a noted early Montana pioneer of Park and Sweet Grass counties died Friday after a lengthy illness. Funeral at Congregational church in Livingston featured Rev. N A Eller. interment at Mountain View. She born March 30 1863 in Saylorville Iowa and later lived in Harrisburg Ore Portland San Francisco Bozeman and Big Timber. Survived by husband Oliver T Churchill? and children Willian Church Harry Cross Carl V Cross and daughter Mrs L L Stewart. nine grandchildren. many relatives and civic members attended. She was member of Eastern Star and Sweet Grass County Pioneer society and revered as a pioneer and neighbor.
