A 5 year old girl, Mona Morrel, died after a tire blowout caused a Packard to crash in Park county near the Springdale feeder road. Five other occupants, all from Wyoming and Salt Lake City residents, were injured and hospitalized. The car rolled multiple times, landed upright in a ditch, and the child was crushed beneath the vehicle before dying at the hospital. Occupants include John Tippets 56 Lovell Wyoming Virginia Sorenson 20 Lovell Ellen Jolly 66 Lovell Ernest Merchant 55 Lovell and Mrs James Cutler 77 Salt Lake City. Sorenson had been set for a two year LDS mission. Missing further repairs to the vehicle were noted. Tippetts and Merchant left for Wyoming after the crash.

Death of Margaret McKenzie Kaiserman After Embolism
Margaret McKenzie Kaiserman died in a Livingston hospital last Thursday from embolism following the birth of her son who was one day old. Funeral held Sunday at Congregational church with Rev. W. L. Spencer officiating and organist Mrs. Mervin Sell. Burial in Mountain View McKenzie lot. She was born May 8 1913 on the McKenzie ranch near Big Timber and lived in Sweet Grass County most of life. She married Clark Kaiserman July 25 1930 in Billings and is survived by her husband a son age 7 two brothers and her parents.

Streamliner Zephyr Kills Engineer In Open-Switch Crash
The Burlington Zephyr rammed a freight locomotive after passing an open switch at Napier Missouri 35 miles north of St. Joseph. Engineer O E Hughes died and several crew members and mail clerks were hurt while passengers were unharmed. Dispatchers said the northbound train hit the locomotive at about 55 miles per hour. The engineer and fireman aboard the freight engine escaped injury. Officials did not confirm how many mail clerks were hurt but said two likely serious injuries occurred.

Three Die as Locomotive Hits Car at Farm Crossing
At a farm crossing east of Bozeman Montana a helper locomotive backing down the tracks struck a car carrying Mrs Mary Payne and three youths. Charles 15 Russell 17 died at once or in hospital Kenneth Payne 4 is critically injured. Police cited limited visibility and the engine being on the wrong side to see the auto.
