A head on collision on a vertical curve seven miles from Norris Junction in Yellowstone National Park kills Captain Walter E. McGrew, commanding officer of CCC forces at West Yellowstone, and Mrs. H. Deputy Olsen dies from gunshot wounds in Dutton Montana
Julius Olsen of Dutton, Teton county deputy sheriff, died in Choteau after being shot in the abdomen on Dutton main street Saturday night. A posse from four counties hunted Bert O. Bolland, 42, rancher, seen in Dutton shortly before the shooting, carrying a rifle and nervous. Bolland had earlier been arrested by Olsen on a disturbance charge and was free on a $1,000 bond.
