Spokane report states International Air Transport will start 12 hour daily passenger and express service early next spring on a northern route from Spokane to St. Paul. Newton Wakefield, general manager, says route roughly follows the Northern Pacific line and talks with American Railway Express about express rights. In Butte Montana on September 27, Mrs. Surate A. Quinn found two rusted tobacco cans sealed in her cellar containing 822,995 in notes and 425 in gold. The coins and bills are believed to have belonged to Thomas Foran a 65 year old former Butte mine watchman who died years earlier. Foran had been living as a boarder in Quinns home and her administration of his estate led to the discovery.

Helena native Helen Word D Autremont, 46, died when a car driven by her brother Foster Ward skidded on gravel near Los Angeles.
