Triple Murderer Sentenced to Life in Prison
George Vandervich of Whitefish was sentenced by District Judge W. Pomeroy to life at hard labor in the state prison. Glendive Youth Dies in Road Crash After Ditch Collision
Russell Lee 19 son of KR Lee a local businessman was killed when the automobile carrying three youths left the road struck a tree and demolished the car near Glendive. Two other youths were injured and hospitalized. Lee was known in eastern Montana for driving his father’s race horses at county fairs.

Helena Miner Killed By Fall Of Boulders
Ole Rindahl a Helena veteran miner was killed by a rock fall in a Porphyry Dike area about seven miles above Riminal yesterday afternoon between 1 and 2 o'clock. Charles J Tipton developing the property at 831 Fifth avenue found the body about 15 feet from the tunnel portal after a cavern opened. Two nearby miners aided by the owner recovered the body under dangerous conditions. Death likely from suffocation.
